Training Needs Assessment for Operator Level Employees in Parking Management DKI Jakarta

摘要

Training needs assessment is the process of gathering information about employees, including tasks, current employee capabilities, future challenges so that training needs arise as a pathway for competency gaps between skills and tasks and future skill requirements. The assisting process of training needs is conducted by using questionnaires, interviews, observation, and document review as data collection tools. The aim of this study is examine the training needs assessment of staff in parking management DKI Jakarta unit. Respondent is employees at the operator levels at the parking management DKI Jakarta unit. This study uses quantitative and qualitative data types from primary and secondary data sources. Qualitative data is also analyzed narratively and systematically. The results of this study reveal the most important general training that must be followed by all UP Parking employees is the attitude development training that are in line with cultural values and organizational rules. While for all employees working at the operator level, the required training is knowledge and computer operational skills for administration. Meanwhile, training needs at the manager level include readiness to face audits, coaching skills, and parking innovation.
