Revitalising China Rural Industries Through Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education: A Conceptual Framework

This study proposes a conceptual framework that examines the relationship between innovation and entrepreneurship education, transformational leadership, and rural industrial development. The framework is developed through a review and synthesis of the transdisciplinary literature. The findings suggest that innovation and entrepreneurship education are crucial factors in rural industrial development and have a direct impact. Moreover, this study argues that innovation and entrepreneurship education indirectly influence rural industrial development through its impact on transformational leadership, which includes idealised influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individual consideration. The practical implications of this study include the benefits of innovation and entrepreneurship education in cultivating rural industrial talent and attracting and retaining talent in rural industrial development. This study offers a new perspective supported by scientific evidence on the relationship between innovation and entrepreneurship education and rural industrial development and provides a method for cultivating rural industrial talent through innovation and entrepreneurship training.
