A Study on Industrial Sustainability and the Growth of Environmental Stability: Path Towards Green Development: A Review

The nation needs green growth since threats to development are increasing as growth keeps depleting its natural resources. This would result in growing water scarcity, deteriorating resource bottlenecks, increased pollution, global warming, and irreversible biodiversity loss. Green growth refers to promoting economic development and growth while ensuring that natural resources continue to offer the assets and services to the environment that are essential to our well-being. To do this, it must stimulate investment and innovation, which will support long-term growth and create new business opportunities. There are various sources of green growth in an economy to achieve sustainability. This paper has been arranged in a systematic manner such as a brief introduction about the background of the study, objectives framed for the study, the major significance of the study carried out, methodology, analysis and concluding remarks. The main objective of this study is to analyse the significant role of industrial sustainability in environmental sustainability and evaluate the impact of industrial practices on the growth of environmental sustainability in India. Based on the objectives outlined for this study, a descriptive and analytical way of research has been conducted. The secondary data has been collected from various gathered for the study purpose. Sourced secondary data from government reports and published articles. Reduced pollution is a necessary step towards more sustainable manufacturing practices. More countries across the world recognise the significance of reducing ecological waste and pollution. Producers can reduce the impact they have on the environment, promote adherence to environmental laws and regulations, and meet the increasing need from environmentally conscious customers for sustainable products through the use of pollution prevention procedures, managing the lifecycle of products, managing electronic waste, using environmentally friendly supplies, implementing pollution control policies.
