Three Fundamental Contributions by Jean Petitot to Semiotics
摘要
In this chapter, I try to outline three fundamental contributions that Jean Petitot’s work has offered to semiotics. I therefore work on: (i) the topological and relational nature of the idea of “structure”, trying to show what happens when we move from a “structural space” to a “rhizomatic space”; (ii) narrativity as the syntagmatic unfolding of profound meanings that articulate the anthropological structure of the imaginary; (iii) the cognitive turn in semiotics and its relationship with enactivism.
