摘要

The present work deals with the development of a solution for pets, the system called PETROUTE, is composed of a Global Positioning System GPS Tracker that helps locate pets through an IoT (Internet of Things) network, the objective of this system is to locate and track pets in real-time so that they do not get lost due to lack of concentration by the owner or also suffer from theft by malicious persons, it is mainly made up of an Arduino Nano development board since it allows the development of geolocation systems through from their bookstores. In addition, wireless communication modules and GPS are added to the system to detect the location employing geographic coordinates to be sent through the wireless communication module; with this, the data processing continues to determine the tracking and monitoring in real-time, being able to visualize graphically through a mobile application an application developed in Open-Source software. Within the mobile application, the geofence function can be created that allows the pet to remain within a range defined by the user, thus ensuring safety in an established range.
