This chapter focuses on the adaptation of MBPs among teachers in school settings. It explores the concepts and theories that highlight the relevance of mindfulness in teaching, as discussed in existing literature. This chapter also examines the various methods used to evaluate mindfulness in teaching, primarily relying on self-reported measures. Additionally, it reviews studies that have highlighted mindfulness-informed programs and their effects on students. Notably, several large-scale studies conducted in schools have reported promising outcomes, demonstrating that teacher mindfulness can positively influence the school climate and student well-being. The chapter concludes with a reflection on the application of mindfulness in teaching and school environments, emphasizing its implication for research and practice.
