摘要

This research seeks to explore the usefulness of IoT-based telemetry for the management of an aquarium, which will contain different fish species in environments ranging from 16 to \(22\,^\circ {\text{C}}\) . This is with an emphasis on the perspective of Generation Z, as well as measuring the enjoyment index as a key reference to determine the quality of the experience sought with this work. To manage the habitat optimally, various factors must be considered, such as water quality, lighting, temperature, among other fundamental characteristics for the well-being of a fish. With that said, the goal is to achieve this objective through the creation of a system capable of self-regulating through the proper use of input and output transducers, these being sensors and actuators to give the project the ability to monitor along with good autonomy to remedy an unfavorable environment in case of encountering one. This is to promote superior experiences for today’s youth. Similarly, voice commands were implemented to improve the enjoyment index by providing greater convenience to the user. In conclusion, the implementation of IoT-based telemetry along with the addition of voice command seeks to represent a significant advance in the improvement of both a captive habitat, such as an aquarium, and the experience obtained. This research contributes to the field of study of the interaction between humans and animals with the implementation of innovative technologies to improve the quality of life of pets.
