Study of a Multilayer Aquifer System by Integration of Geological, Hydrogeological and Geophysical Data. Case of El Fej Region (Central Tunisia)
摘要
A hydrogeological investigation and geophysical survey, by well logging, were undertaken in the El Fej region, central Tunisia, to elucidate the geometry, the hydrodynamic and the potential hydrogeological units in this region. The well logging data has shown the presence of three aquifer units with good reservoir qualities: the detrital deposits of the Plio-Quaternary, the fissured limestones of Campanian–Maastrichtian and the limestones and dolomites of Cenomanian–Turonian. This study in El Fej region has proven that the use of the well logging gave effective results with accurate and specific details about the potentialities and the extension of the aquifers units.
