Limit States of Underground Structures

There are two types of problems that can arise when calculating the structure of the lining of underground structures. The first is to select the design with the necessary and sufficient bearing capacity for the given conditions. The second is to check the bearing capacity of a given design of an underground structure in specific mining conditions. In this case, the exhaustion of the bearing capacity should imply the termination of the operational capacity of the structure and the achievement of the limit state in terms of the parameters of the functions assigned to it.
