General Circulation Models (GCMs) or Global Climate Models contain fundamental principles of the equation of motion, energy balance equation or thermodynamic equation, continuity equation or conservation of mass, gas law or equation of state, and water vapour equation which are well-proven as the governing equations of the atmospheric motion.
