摘要

In the last century, the world has witnessed significant changes in the climatic variables affecting both terrestrial and oceanic ecosystems. By definition, climate changeClimate Change is a long-term alteration in the average weather patterns of a region or the world as a whole, that is attributed to an increase in global temperatures. This can include changes in temperature, precipitation, humidity, and other atmospheric conditions. The use of modelling approaches to assess long-term changes in climatic variables and their impacts on natural ecosystems at the regional and global scale, as well as projections of climate change, has enhanced our comprehension of the complex temporal patterns of climates. Climate projectionClimate Projections suggests that extreme heat events, changes in rainfall patterns, increased flooding and drought events with higher intensity food and water scarcity, more diseases, and economic loss is considered to happen in the near future, and the sustainability of natural ecosystems and human health will most likely be at great risk. In addition, the potential effects of increased levels of atmospheric CO2, N2O, and CH4 on future climates should not be overlooked.
