Arenas of Hybridity
摘要
The chapter addresses the ways in which photographic images participate in hybrid life narratives and the ways in which they engage varied communities of mixed-ness. In life narratives by photographers and collectors (Joachim Schmid, Jerzy Lewczyński, and Jacek Dehnel), images, both tangible aesthetic objects and ephemeral others, are shown as agents of hybridity.
