Temperature-Compensated and Robust Bandgap Reference Voltage Circuit for High-Precision Sensors and Voltage Regulators

摘要

This paper provides a 90 nm CMOS-designed and simulated low-power, high-precision bandgap reference voltage circuit. The circuit has a low sensitivity to supply voltage and process fluctuations and delivers a consistent reference voltage across a broad temperature range. Simulations are performed to examine the performance of the circuit, taking into account process corners, fluctuations in temperature, and supply voltage. The circuit displays a TC of 20 ppm/ \(^\circ \) C throughout a temperature spectrum of −60 to −130  \(^\circ \) C. Monte Carlo simulations were used to assess the circuit’s worst-case performance, which revealed an output variation of under 2.6%. The designed circuitry is suitable for high-precision and low-power operations such as voltage regulators and sensors.
