Maximizing Performance of Light Emitting Diode Luminaires for Road Illumination

Road lighting is crucial for maintaining road safety and improving service for road users. This study focuses on optimizing the installation of Light Emitting Diode (LED) luminaires to achieve better illuminance, luminance, and uniformity. The study evaluates various adjustment parameters such as mounting height, pole spacing, and pole inclination angle using DIALux simulation software. The findings suggest that adjusting these parameters can significantly improve the efficiency of LED road lighting installation, leading to improved safety and service for road users.
