Survival in the Forest: Serious Game for Cognitive Stimulation of Patients
摘要
Studies show that the incorporation of serious games in conventional neurorehabilitation processes represents a significant contribution in terms of motivation and adherence to treatment in post-stroke patients. However, the current challenges respond to the design of increasingly personalized serious games that incorporate the residual functionalities of each patient. In this sense, the present work introduces the development of a Serious Game (SG) for the rehabilitation of post-stroke patients with cognitive difficulties, especially as a tool for the treatment of apraxia. In addition, a first validation instance of the designed SG performed with infants is shown.
