Tissue Stiffness as Differential Tumor Biomarker for ProsTate and Liver
摘要
The objective of this study is to assess the viability of magnetic resonance elastography (MRE) for liver and prostate tumor identification and evaluation using stiffness quantification maps (μ). For that purpose, we used the standard multiparametric liver and prostate protocols (in addition to the MRE protocol) in order to generate, compare and evaluate the μ maps. The statistical analysis shows a significant difference between normal and tumor tissue. In addition, confidence maps were in accordance with the expected mechanical response in different tissues.
