摘要

Phase contrast angiography (PCA) is a sequence that permits encoding blood flow velocity. This is done by implementing a bipolar gradient which allows to differentiate distinct velocities by a phase shift difference. The information acquired is afterwards used to calculate additional parameters regarding blood hydrodynamics, in order to bring complementary data to the information given by anatomical sequences. The aim of the study is to standardize the PCA sequence for head and neck and to calculate hemodynamic parameters.
