Functional Design of Sofware to Obtain Spatio-Temporal Parameters of Human Gait

The objective of this research was to carry out the functional design of a software product that calculates spatio-temporal parameters of human gait using recorded videos. Tools from Software Engineering were used for this purpose. User requirements were elicited and analyzed, then they were modeled as use cases. Based on these, the user experience (layout) was developed. Once the quality analysis of the software product was obtained, the functional test cases were carried out, with which the program can be tested as it is implemented. Finally, after these documents were obtained, it was possible to make a comparison between a software prototype (Hapet), already in use and the software designed in this project, determining that the semantic gap that exists between the two is important.
