Against this backdrop, an increasing number of enterprises are incorporating data asset management into their strategic plans. Metadata forms the foundation of data asset management and serves as a crucial cornerstone in other related areas. This article introduces the basic situation about data assets in civil aviation information field and explores how metadata plays a role in data asset management within the civil aviation information sector.
