The United Nations (UN), the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the Small Islands Developing States (SIDS)

The chapter presents characteristics, recent trends, and patterns of the SIDS. A community of values and interests with great challenges such as climate change and lack of financing for development and disaster response. The SIDS confront their challenges with resilience and unique leadership, including at the social and cultural levels, with education, music, arts, and sport, all-inclusive SIDS’ community features.
