  • Dahlin Mikidachi Mondroha

摘要

Mayotte is surrounded by a spectacular lagoon, home to exceptional marine biodiversity. This offers incredible opportunities for water-based activities such as scuba diving, sailing, and many others. This remarkable natural heritage is a major attraction for water sports enthusiasts, sports leisure and tourist activities, and hikes that can be enjoyed in this tropical island environment. Sports tourism in Mayotte can thus become a driving force for sustainable economic development and a means of preserving and enhancing the island’s natural heritage. It is also necessary to strengthen the tourism infrastructure by improving sports facilities, developing support services and training specialized professionals. Mayotte is a fantastic adventure playground for hiking enthusiasts. The island is one of those rare places that has managed to preserve an exceptionally authentic environment. For a number of reasons, however, these activities are often financially inaccessible to the vast majority of the indigenous population, as they often have to be paid for locally.
