In the rapidly evolving landscape of pet healthcare, ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and security of medical records is paramount. This paper presents a groundbreaking approach to revolutionize traditional pet medical data management using blockchain technology. By harnessing the power of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS), and Smart Contracts, we introduce a system that optimizes data query and update mechanisms, enhancing both transparency and reliability. Our approach centers on a unique decentralized framework, which grants veterinarians the ability to input, access, and modify medical records, with each interaction safeguarded by stringent access controls and identity verification protocols. The decentralized nature of IPFS ensures robust, tamper-proof data storage, while the NFTs encapsulate the uniqueness of each pet’s medical history. The integration of Smart Contracts guarantees seamless data updates, maintaining a clear and immutable history of medical records.
