The Human Activity Detection and Recognition (HADR) system is a crucial computer vision application. It focuses on the creation of a number of tools or techniques that use computer vision and AI to identify a variety of human behaviours or activities, including normal, abnormal, and suspicious ones. For HADR, various sensors are also employed. It also has a wide range of uses, but it also has some major problems and difficulties. As a result, the primary goal of this chapter is to give a quick overview of the HADR system's rationale, applications, issues, and challenges.
