Enhancing the quality of higher education has been a challenging agenda for the government. Higher educational institutions are attempting several mechanisms to ensure the quality of education. Industry-academia linkages are driven to enhance quality in higher education. It warrants a wide range of benefits that can influence higher educational institutions, organizations, society, and the nation as a whole. Collaboration is one such mechanism that ensures strengthening industry-academia linkage. Collaboration is about when members of an inclusive learning community work together as equals to support enhanced learning. On the other hand, industry-academia linkages though may not be in an inclusive learning community are all about supporting enhanced learning. This entry attempts to discuss the various forms of industry-academia collaborations and shares the benefits of them. The entry also shares operational and technical challenges along with strategies for institutions to strengthen the industry-academia linkages. The entry uses primary qualitative data to present a case of an academic institution which has been involved in practicing collaboration. The entry is a unique attempt that shares both the perspectives of technical and management institutions.
