Formation and Change
摘要
The Formational Set (FS) is an integrative conceptual and practical framework—comprising theory, model, and method—developed to support the transformation of consciousness in leaders and organizations. Grounded in transdisciplinary integration, the FS draws from the domains of perennial wisdom, change leadership, and memory, offering a novel ontology for understanding and enacting transformational leadership. As theoretical construct, the interplay of these three forces—Mystical Path, Theory U, and Episodic-Prospective Memory—give rise to the FS. As model, it facilitates a shift in awareness, enabling leaders and organizations to reframe meaning-making, engage complexity, and pursue systemic change. As method, the FS invites leaders into a nonlinear, transformative journey toward new ways of being, belonging, and becoming—integrating inner development (identity, values, and purpose) with outer engagement (strategic action, systems thinking, and organizational culture). The FS emphasizes the systemic interconnectedness of all life through holistic well-being, regenerative practice, and wise leadership aimed at advancing both human and planetary flourishing. Its strength lies in unifying the inner and outer dimensions of leadership through a dynamic interplay of formation, change, and memory. The FS contributes to the broader discourse on transformative leadership by offering an emergent approach to leading change.
