Jewish Leadership, rooted in the rich history, religion, culture, and traditions of the Jewish people, is an ethical form of leadership that aims at the cultivation of societies of justice, compassion, and peace. Grounded in the moral and ethical teachings of the Torah and Talmud, Jewish Leadership aims to unify, protect, and ensure the continuation of the community and the world it lives in. Jewish Leadership are described in the form desirable leadership traits, such as (a) valuing knowledge and wisdom, (b) a focus on vision and inspiration, (c) emulating modesty and humility, (d) a preference for communal leadership and limiting leadership power, (e) practicing justice and compassion, and (f) leading with accountability and responsibility. Jewish Leadership has made an indelible mark on human history, and the Jewish women and men that have led in moral and ethical ways provide those who aspire to lead with examples of leadership that promotes peace, justice, and human flourishing in the world.
