Eupsychian Management (Abraham H. Maslow)
摘要
In 1962, Abraham Maslow was invited to observe employees and management practices at Non-Linear Systems, Inc., in California. The observations spurred a wealth of thoughts for Maslow, resulting in the development of the term eupsychian management and the publication of his transcribed notes into the book, Eupsychian Management: A Journal. Eupsychian management is Abraham Maslow’s application of his health psychology to the organizational setting, as well as his observations as to how work and management practices impact people’s psychological health. The book is not a description of the observed practices at Non-Linear Systems, Inc., but instead Maslow’s thoughts and ideas on management, as well as concepts for his own future research inquiries within the work setting.
