摘要

Blockchain-based person-centric services aim to solve main healthcare problems such as high costs and low service availability. The complex architecture of integrated blockchain systems results in additional risks related to personal data misuse and patient safety. Self-sovereign identity (SSI) provides security for health data in blockchain-based systems by giving individuals control over the information they use to prove who they are. However, in cross-organizational healthcare processes, humans and smart devices collect and share health data that require strong authentication mechanisms. In this research, we integrate multi-factor self-sovereign identity authentication (MFSSIA) into healthcare services to enable secure cross-blockchain communication between human and non-human stakeholders. The solution focuses on risks for patient safety and personal data misuse and proposes a secure data exchange for different blockchain-based healthcare systems without any central authority.
