School Leaders and Technology During COVID-19: Lessons Learned from the Field and Future Implications

In this concluding chapter, we present the collective information about the use of technology by school leaders presented in the various chapters of this edited work. In particular, through this chapter, we pick up the main themes and issues and discuss the overall findings. In addition, we provide a perspective on context and contextual variables that may affect school leaders’ engagement with technology and digital literacy. We conclude this chapter by emphasizing the significance of strengthening school leaders’ technological and digital capacity in modern-day education, along with the most important implications to take into consideration, together with a reference to AI and ChatGPT and how they will impact the field in the near future.
