摘要
The objective of this chapter is to discuss how to identify the cases of sensory analysis where the use of parametric tests is not appropriate and to present the analogous nonparametric tests. The most often used nonparametric tests will be considered in regard to when and how these tests should be applied. Three case studies where nonparametric tests are used to analyse data from sensory tests are also presented to better illustrate the application of these tests.
