Prospects and Risks of Remote Investment Transactions: On the Example of the Exchange Trading Platform Xetra

The presented article is devoted to the study of remote investment transactions (on the example of the exchange trading platform Xetra). The authors expressed their vision of theoretical foundations and practice of realization of this type of transactions on the example of the German trading floor Xetra. In the course of the study it was determined that there was a technological innovation of the exchange. In securities trading new information technologies have provided more opportunities for decision-making, but the risks have also increased. The authors have formulated their position on minimizing some of them. It is noted that to ensure smooth electronic display of exchange trading, all sub-processes of the market should be displayed on IT platforms without failures. In order to protect the interests of market participants, it is necessary to improve blockchain technology, self-regulation and legal regulation.
