Research on the Model of Teaching Staff Allocation in Private Universities Based on Discrete Firefly Algorithm

The allocation of teaching staff can ensure fairness in education and teaching at private colleges and universities. To improve the performance of teaching staff allocation in these institutions, a model based on the discrete firefly algorithm is proposed. This paper calculates the dynamic flow of teachers in private colleges and universities by normalizing data samples and analyzes the characteristics of teacher flow in relation to their status and output. The structure of teachers is influenced by factors such as salary and workload. Using the Markov model principle, the paper predicts the structure of university teachers. A multi-objective optimization model is then constructed to allocate teachers in private colleges and universities, aiming to reduce the dispersion of overall teacher resources and differences in overall teaching matching. The discrete firefly algorithm is employed to solve the optimization problem of teacher allocation through firefly coding and fitness function construction. Experimental results demonstrate the high rationality of the proposed model in allocating teachers at private colleges and universities.
