(Lexico)grammar and Data-Driven Learning
摘要
Among the different aspects of language that data-driven learning (DDL) can be used for, this entry focuses on lexicogrammar and grammar. It starts by showing that DDL has been applied more often to lexicogrammar than to grammar. It then presents the ways in which each of them can be approached through DDL, with some illustrations taken from the literature. It appears that DDL approaches to lexicogrammar and grammar bear some similarities, including exploratory and corrective functions, and that they each have unique contributions to make to language pedagogy.
