The introduction of digital and online media over the past 50+ years and their use across the world today has transformed our lives, including our approaches to teaching and learning. This entry focuses on the digital literacy skills that language teachers need to teach today and explores how teachers can develop these skills to teach successfully and find their way through a potentially confusing array of digital technologies. It also introduces a couple of frameworks that teachers may find useful.
