The Entrepreneurial University

In this chapter we address the topic of entrepreneurial universities. The concept of entrepreneurial universities is central to knowledge share (KS). Universities, and more generally public research organizations (PROs), are producers of knowledge. Many of them are active in the diffusion of such knowledge and frontier research results. The attention that universities have been paying to reaching out to different audiences and generating impact through KS has increased over the years.
