Borozna and Kochtcheeva argue that due to the deep integration of Russia’s economy into the global trade system, the effects of sanctions against Russia are reverberating worldwide. The initial signs of these consequences are already evident, with rising energy prices, the closure of businesses in Europe, and increased food shortages in various parts of the world.
