Digital Twins and Predictive Analytics in Smart Agriculture

The reputation of digital twins in today’s era is tremendously increasing. As its name indicates, digital twins are replica of physical models, systems, and processes in virtual space. Digital environment is created via prototypes to depict its functioning in real world. Integration of predictive analytics algorithm with digital twin technology makes it more innovative in smart farming. This dual technology creates informed decisions for the farmers in agro-based environment and also saves from forthcoming disasters in agriculture. A prototype has been illustrated in the proposed work for making informed decisions about crop status.
