Findings, Conclusions, and Recommendations

The final chapter summarises the main findings of the research, highlights international criminal justice as best practice in prosecuting cases of aggravated sex trafficking, and offers a normative reflection on this recommendation to the International Criminal Court (ICC), the United Nations (UN), and individual states. The chapter is then rounded out by recognising the limitations of this exploratory study and briefly discussing how they give rise to opportunities for future supplementary research in international-criminal-justice and trafficking studies.
