Methodology

Research methodology, context, and scope are the focuses of this chapter. The chapter begins by explaining the importance of subjects’ speaking to each other and how the strands that weave together to make up this book fill the gaps left by existing studies. It then goes on to describe the research methodology and particularly concentrates on the conceptual, ethical, and methodological issues connected with interviewing incarcerated Albanian sex traffickers given that this method of data gathering is where most issues arise.
