摘要

In an era in which all devices tend to be smaller, the conventional and planar devices are functioning together. The present study aims at determining the influence of a conventional and a planar Yagi-Uda antennas, each functioning at the same frequency of approximately 2.6 GHz, on three types of human tissue present in their vicinity, namely skin, fat and muscle. For this, the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), electric field and magnetic field are determined and compared in order to reach some conclusions. Also, the distance of the tissues from the antenna was varied and it was determined if the antennas can be placed near tissue layers without producing damages to them. The values obtained are analyzed and compared with the ones suggested by ICNIRP (International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection) in order to determine if the limits are according to the standard.
