The Realization Problem

The realization problem involves three interrelated problems: (1) how do natural systems realize relational models, i.e., their organization and functions (2) how to fabricate an (M, R) – system in order to “empirically verify” that organisms are realizations of (M, R) – systems and (3) how to establish correspondence between relational models and more traditional scientific models of natural systems, in particular dynamical models.
