Pseudo-Random Error-Correcting Codes in Network Coding
摘要
The paper considers a variant of using error-correcting codes based on pseudo-random sequences to deal with errors in transmission systems with network coding. The use of a combination of classical pseudo-random sequences (codes) of maximum length and composite pseudo-random sequences makes it possible to recover data in case of loss of some packets. The presented approach is considered on the example of maximum length codes and Gold codes. For the considered codes, a decoding method with postprocessing is proposed. By means of mathematical modeling there is made a comparison of various methods of processing codewords at the reception, and the results are presented in the form of graphs of the probabilistic characteristics of three decoding methods.
