摘要

The number of devices connected to the network is constantly increasing, which in turn increases the amount of traffic generated in the network. At the same time, some of the new promising technologies require the provision of a group delay of the order of 1 ms. To reduce the load on the core network and reduce the delay in data transmission, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems can be used that support the possibility of organizing a network within the framework of the concept of software-defined networks (SDNs). However, in UAV systems, when the internal battery is discharged, it is necessary to consider the possibility of migrating services and sending the UAV for recharging. The chapter contains a detailed description of the ways of organizing the UAV architecture, the main areas of UAV application, as well as the advantages obtained in UAV systems when implementing the SDN concept. Also useful is information on possible ways to implement the SDN controller. The presented algorithm (sequence of actions) for the implementation of the migration of services and the movement of the UAV to the recharge zones in the future can be applied in practice when the charge of the built-in UAV battery is reduced to a certain level. In the chapter, an experiment was conducted comparing three systems in the software complex MATLAB according to the dependence of the average delay and the number (in percent) of blocked tasks on the number of tasks performed on drones.
