Impact of Climate Change on Incidences of Pests in Crops
摘要
Climate change is of great concern to India in regard to food and nutritional security and the nation’s ever-growing population. The impacts of climate change are global, but the Indian subcontinent is more vulnerable due to its large population dependence on agriculture. Climate change has a direct effect on agriculture due to 0.8 °C average global rise in temperature in the last 100 years, and atmospheric CO2 concentration has increased from 280 ppm (1750) to 416 ppm (2021).
