They say that the main CERNCERN restaurant, once known as the Co-op after the company that used to run it, now more prosaically known as R1, is the place where everything of import that happens at the laboratory is discussed. It’s a place where students fresh out of high school can rub shoulders with Nobel PrizeNobel Prize winners, and over the years, it has been the scene of many important discussions.
