摘要

Energy poverty is a widespread issue in developing and developed countries, with serious health, education, and economic development consequences. Energy poverty arises from income inequality, high costs, inadequate housing, and poor infrastructure. A comprehensive approach involving government policies, private sector investments, community engagement, and technological innovation is required to address these factors. We can improve the lives of millions of people and contribute to a more sustainable and equitable future by addressing energy poverty. This paper reviews the literature within 10 years, from 2012 to 2023. And its current issue is based on factors that contribute to energy poverty. Two major databases, Web of Science (WOS) and Scopus, set standards for inclusion and disqualification were created to search and screen the articles. This review examines factors contributing to energy poverty. The results of this review may benefit researchers, society, and policymakers to impede energy poverty.
