Sustainable Design for Solving Environment Problems in X Office Design Indonesia

This writing aims to understand the application of sustainable design through the parameters of Greenship (green rating system) and/or the application of sustainable design principles implemented in the X Indonesia office’s interior design and architecture. In this paper, the support for sustainable design in the X office will be seen in terms of the use of environmentally friendly materials, such as certified wood and materials that are recycled from waste that is produced in the surrounding environment daily. Another thing that supports creating a sustainable design in this office is the inclusion of indoor plants that help revitalize the indoor air and make the air in the X office good for the occupants of the office. This paper also addresses lighting as one factor that influences the office’s sustainable design. The lighting used prioritizes natural light before adding lights to the room. Sustainable design planning in the X office is carried out to reduce the impact of global warming that is currently happening.
