This research focuses on investigating the synergistic potential of three seemingly unrelated fields, namely Blockchain technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and sustainable energy, to hasten the shift towards a more sustainable future. Blockchain’s decentralized trust protocols that gained fame in the financial sector have found application in green energy trade by enabling peer-to-peer transactions, boosting transparency in carbon credits trading, and increasing energy accessibility to a broader audience. On the other hand, AI’s predictive analysis, automated skills, and data-driven insights enhance energy efficiency, reduce wasteful usage, and facilitate cutting-edge grid management. The combination of these technologies with renewable energy sources has the potential to disrupt the current power systems. This research zeroes in on the vital synergies between AI demand forecasting and Blockchain microtransaction management, which are critical to the development of smart grids. It also highlights the significance of decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) that fuel community-based renewable energy initiatives, Blockchain-backed green energy certificates, and AI-powered optimization of renewable energy storage. Hence, while Blockchain, AI, and Sustainable Energy possess immense potential individually, their integration presents a truly game-changing opportunity for a more eco-friendly and sustainable future. By acknowledging their interdependence, the development of the green energy industry can be expedited, enabling the creation of a more open, efficient, and democratic energy system.
