From 5G to 6G: Exploring the Evolution and Adoption of Wireless Network Technology

This paper explores the factors influencing the adoption and implementation of 5G networks in the Philippines. It highlights challenges such as spectrum availability, deployment strategies, device upgrades, deployment costs, and security concerns. The scarcity and cost of spectrum bands pose challenges for CSPs, while clear deployment strategies and device upgrades are essential. Managing expenses and addressing security and privacy concerns are critical for successful implementation. Supportive laws, policies, and collaboration among stakeholders are necessary for accelerated 5G deployment. Addressing these factors will unlock the potential of 5G and improve the mobile experience in the Philippines.
