摘要

Social workers are an essential part of interprofessional teams providing palliative caring to diverse individuals facing serious illness, mortality, and end of life. Using biopsychosocial-spiritual assessments, advocacy, and clinical counselling skills to address a range of concerns including access and barriers to care as well as commonly occurring issues related to coping, life review and meaning making, social workers provide whole person care with a focus on the person in their environment.
